1. Introduction

Welcome to Meridian Partners. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website www.meridianpartners.in and our recruitment and career services.

Meridian Partners is a professional recruitment and talent solutions firm based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, providing:

  • Career services for job seekers (CV building, interview preparation, job portal access)
  • Recruitment solutions for employers
  • Business development opportunities for associates

By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must have legal capacity to enter binding contracts
  • All information provided must be accurate and truthful
  • Services are primarily available to users in India

3. User Accounts

Registration
  • Provide accurate personal and professional information
  • Valid contact details and payment for applicable fees
Account Security
  • You are responsible for maintaining login confidentiality
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • We are not liable for losses from unauthorized account use

Account Termination:We may suspend/terminate accounts for violating Terms, providing false information, fraudulent activities, or extended inactivity. You may deactivate your account anytime.

4. SERVICES FOR JOB SEEKERS

4.1 Registration Plans

BASIC PLAN - ₹199 (12 Months)

  • Access to jobs with CTC up to ₹3 LPA
  • Professional CV/Resume building
  • Interview preparation sessions
  • Soft skills and communication training
  • Job application guidance

PREMIUM PLAN - ₹999 (12 Months)

  • Access to jobs with CTC above ₹3 LPA
  • Premium CV templates and professional editing
  • Personalized interview preparation
  • Advanced soft skills and personality development
  • Priority job application support
  • Dedicated career guidance
  • Hiring assistance in relevant roles
4.2 Payment & Service Terms
  • Payment required in advance via Paytm/PhonePe/Google Pay/UPI
  • Generally non-refundable once access is granted (see Section 10 for exceptions)
  • CV delivery within 3-5 business days
  • Sessions scheduled based on mutual availability
  • Portal access valid for 12 months
  • We do not guarantee job placements, interviews, or specific salary offers
4.3 Job Seeker Obligations
  • Provide accurate information
  • Update profile regularly
  • Respond promptly to employers
  • Attend scheduled interviews
  • Not misrepresent qualifications
  • Maintain professional conduct

5. EMPLOYER PORTAL REGISTRATION PLANS

5.1 Registration Plans for Direct Hiring

BASIC PLAN - ₹999 (3 Months)

  • 5 job postings during 3-month period
  • Access to Basic Plan job seekers (up to ₹3 LPA candidates)
  • Candidate database search and profile viewing
  • Download up to 25 resumes
  • Basic application management dashboard
  • Email support (24-48 hours response)
  • Job posting email notifications to matching candidates

PREMIUM PLAN - ₹1,999 (12 Months)

  • 20 job postings during 12-month period
  • Access to ALL job seekers (Basic + Premium, all salary ranges)
  • Unlimited profile searches and resume downloads
  • Advanced filters and saved searches
  • Priority application management with analytics
  • Dedicated support (4-6 hours response)
  • Featured job placement with company logo
  • WhatsApp and SMS notifications to candidates
  • Company profile page on portal
  • Priority visibility in candidate recommendations
5.2 Portal Registration Terms
  • Payment required in advance via Paytm/PhonePe/Google Pay/UPI/Net Banking
  • Generally non-refundable once activated
  • Unused postings expire at end of plan period (non-transferable)
  • Job postings can be edited or replaced within posting limit
  • Unlimited applications can be received
  • Employers can upgrade from Basic to Premium by paying difference amount (₹1,000)
5.3 Portal User Obligations

Employers using portal registration agree to:

  • Provide accurate job descriptions
  • Use candidate information only for recruitment purposes
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate data
  • Respond to applications in reasonable timeframe
  • Conduct professional and fair hiring processes
  • Not misuse platform or engage in discriminatory practices

6. FULL RECRUITMENT SERVICES FOR EMPLOYERS

6.1 End-to-End Recruitment Solutions

Separate from portal registration, we provide comprehensive recruitment services including:

  • Talent sourcing and screening
  • Profile shortlisting based on job requirements
  • Interview coordination
  • Background and reference verification
  • Offer management and onboarding support
  • Post-placement follow-up
6.2 Fee Structure
  • Recruitment Fee: 8.33% of candidate's annual CTC
  • Payable only upon successful candidate joining
  • Invoice issued after confirmation
  • Payment due within 15 days of invoice
6.3 Replacement Guarantee

If a placed candidate leaves within 90 days, we provide a replacement at no additional cost.

Conditions:
  • Notify us within 5 business days of exit
  • Same role and requirements apply
  • Subject to candidate availability
  • Applies once per placement
6.4 Employer Obligations for Full Recruitment Services
  • Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
  • Respond to candidate profiles promptly
  • Conduct fair interview processes
  • Provide timely feedback
  • Honor agreed salary and terms
  • Not hire presented candidates directly without paying our fee (applies for 12 months)

Violation results in full recruitment fee liability plus legal costs.

7. Business Development Associate (BDA) Program

7.1 Commission Structure

BDAs earn commission for successful job seeker registrations:

  • Basic Plan (₹199): ₹50 per registration
  • Premium Plan (₹999): ₹150 per registration
7.2 Payment Terms
  • Commission processed within 24–48 hours of verification
  • BDA must provide valid payment screenshots
  • BDA’s full name must appear in the "Reference" field
  • Payments made via Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, or Bank Transfer
7.3 BDA Obligations
  • Promote services ethically and accurately
  • No false promises or guarantees
  • Maintain all payment screenshots
  • No spam or unethical marketing practices
  • Represent Meridian Partners professionally

Termination: Any unethical practices, fraudulent referrals, or misrepresentation will result in immediate termination from the BDA program.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All logos, text, graphics, designs, trademarks, and website content are the exclusive property of Meridian Partners. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, or use any content without prior written permission.

Your Content

By submitting resumes, profiles, or job postings, you grant us a non-exclusive, limited license to use such content solely for providing recruitment and career services. You retain ownership and may request removal at any time.

Third-Party Content

Job listings, employer information, and candidate profiles provided by third parties remain their respective property. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of third-party content.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate others
  • Engage in fraud
  • Upload malicious software or malware
  • Harass or abuse others
  • Scrape or data mine our platform
  • Violate laws or attempt unauthorized access
  • Use services for illegal purposes
  • Discriminate based on caste, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics

Violation may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

10. Refund Policy

10.1 For Job Seekers

Generally non-refundable once access is granted.

Refund Exceptions:

  • Technical issues preventing service access (verified by us)
  • Duplicate payments (excess refunded)
  • Service not delivered within 30 days

Process:

  • Refund request must be made within 7 days of payment
  • Processed within 7–10 business days
  • Applicable processing fees may be deducted
10.2 For Employer Portal Registration

Generally non-refundable once activated.

Refund Exceptions:

  • Technical issues preventing portal access (verified by us)
  • Duplicate payments (excess refunded)

Process:

  • Refund request must be made within 7 days of payment
  • Processed within 7–10 business days
  • Unused job postings do not qualify for refunds
10.3 For Full Recruitment Services
  • Recruitment fees are non-refundable once candidate joins
  • Replacement guarantee applies (refer Section 6.3)
  • Service cancellation must be requested in writing before candidate joining

11. Disclaimers & Liability

11.1 Service Disclaimer

Services provided “AS IS” without warranties.

We do not guarantee:

  • Job placements or hiring outcomes
  • Interview success or salary packages
  • Accuracy of third-party job listings or candidate information
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Specific number of applications for job postings
  • Quality or suitability of candidates who apply
11.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Total liability limited to amount paid by you for services:
    • Maximum ₹999 for job seekers
    • Maximum ₹1,999 for employer portal registration
    • Maximum 8.33% of CTC for full recruitment services
  • Not responsible for employer hiring decisions, workplace disputes, or payment issues between employers and employees
  • Not liable for actions or omissions of third parties using our platform
11.3 Third-Party Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Employment relationships between employers and candidates
  • Workplace disputes, terminations, or legal issues
  • Candidate performance or employer satisfaction
  • Misrepresentation by job seekers or employers

12. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of

  • Personal and professional information
  • Business terms and agreements
  • Proprietary processes

Exceptions: Publicly available information, legal requirements, information necessary for service delivery (e.g., sharing resumes with employers, sharing job postings with candidates)

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meridian Partners, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • False or misleading information provided by you
  • Your hiring decisions or employment practices (for employers)

14. Governing Law & Disputes

Governed by Indian law. Disputes subject to jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Dispute Resolution:
  • Informal resolution through direct communication
  • Mediation (if Step 1 fails)
  • Binding arbitration in Lucknow (if Step 2 fails)
  • Court proceedings (last resort)

15. Modifications

We may modify these Terms anytime. Changes effective upon posting with updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Significant changes communicated via email.

16. TERMINATION

16.1 Termination by You:

Deactivate account anytime (fees non-refundable)

16.2 Termination by Us:

For Terms violation, fraud, non-payment, inactivity, or discriminatory practices

16.3 Effect of Termination:
  • Access ceases immediately
  • Data may be deleted (subject to legal requirements)
  • Payment obligations remain enforceable
  • Confidentiality obligations survive termination
  • Unused job postings or service credits are forfeited

17. General Provisions

  • These Terms and Privacy Policy constitute entire agreement
  • Invalid provisions don't affect remaining Terms
  • We may assign rights; you may not without consent
  • Not liable for force majeure events (disasters, pandemics, government actions, etc.)
  • All notices must be sent to contact information below
